Housing options

My name is Albina, I’m 18 years old (turning 19 this year), originally from Nepal but have lived in Denmark for the past 15 years. I’m graduating from gymnasium this summer and taking a gap year to hopefully attend to Awakening School of Ministry (October 2025 – June 2026)
While I know shared apartments are available, I personally thrive in a home environment with people around me. I would love to be part of a family’s daily life, and I am more than willing to contribute in return — either by helping practically in the home (such as cooking, cleaning, childcare) as an au pair, or by serving in the context of ministry if you are a pastoral or ministry family.
I'm open to different options:
– Living with a family in exchange for helping around the house
– Interning or assisting in a church or ministry family in return for housing
– Or even paying rent to stay with a family, if that is needed
I’ve studied German for 12 years and understand it fairly well. I’m excited to improve by living with a German-speaking family.
In Denmark, I’m part of a small local church where I help in the youth ministry. Even though we’re only around 20–35 young people, I’m deeply passionate about seeing youth encounter Jesus in real and radical ways — not just during big youth camps, but also right in the middle of our small, quiet church.
I believe that the presence of God is not limited. He is the same everywhere. And I’ve come to see that He loves to move powerfully in the hidden places, where hearts are open and hungry.That’s also a big reason why I’m coming to Awakening School. I want to be equipped, grow in the gifts God has placed in me, and deepen my relationship with Him. I long to carry His presence into every part of my life.
